Simple Stelline Soup

Ingredients

  • 16 cups (128 oz.) chicken broth
  • 12 oz. jovial Brown Rice Stelline
  • ½ cup Grated Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese
  • 2-3 sprigs of Thyme or  4-5 Bay Leaves (depending on which herb you prefer)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring chicken broth to a boil.
  2. Add stelline directly into the chicken broth for 10 minutes.  Cooking the pasta directly in the broth will make your soup more flavorful.
  3. You can use your preference of herbs during the cooking process, but remove before serving.
  4. Sprinkle with Parmigiano cheese and serve.
