Olive oil is known to be rich in antioxidants and have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, which can soothe the digestive tract. High in monounsaturated fats and believed to protect the heart and prevent strokes, olive oil emulsifies in the blender and when combined with certain types of fruits like pears and mangos, lends a delicious creaminess without added dairy. We are sharing our favorite base recipe, which you can add to with other ingredients, but we also like to add a teaspoon of powdered matcha and the contents of a capsule of probiotics.
