Authentic Italian & Gluten Free Fettuccine Alfredo
Ingredients
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
- ¼ teaspoon fine sea salt
- 2 cups Parmigiano Reggiano cheese, grated
- 12 ounce package jovial Brown Rice Fettuccine
- Fresh chives, minced
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt butter on low heat. Add the salt and set aside.
- Cook the pasta according to instructions, reserving ¼ cup of pasta cooking water when draining the pasta.
- Heat the butter to a slight sizzle on medium heat, add the drained pasta, and grated cheese on top. Toss the pasta with the butter and cheese in the skillet for 1 minute, add in the pasta cooking water to make the sauce creamy. Add fresh chives to garnish
- Serve the pasta from the skillet.
