New Wheatberry Packaging

If you have recently placed an order for wheat berries, you may have been surprised when you opened your box. We have a new package, which proudly features a certified home compostable inner bag that is made from FSC wood pulp and not plastic. Long ago, cellophane was made from wood before the plastic polyethylene replaced it. The box also includes recipes and cooking instructions.

What’s next? Well, our flour bag has been redesigned- see below. And, we are working on bulk packaging for both wheat berries and flour.  Many of you have requested this. It is a bit difficult as we want the wheat berries packed in an  airtight system, which helps to keep the wheatgerm fresh. In the new year, we will also be offering some great kitchen tools that will help you sprout, grind and roll your berries right from home.
