We would like to thank this awesome group of gluten free travelers for coming all the way to Italy to cook with us at the villa in Lucca! The latest jovial Gluten Free Culinary Getaway was fantastic for many reasons.

We loved watching the seven beautiful young ladies ranging in age from 9-15 in the kitchen cooking alongside the adults. Their small hands gracefully produced some of the best looking gnocchi, ravioli and cannoli we had ever seen.

We always enjoy getting together with such wonderful people because they love food just as much as we do and they also live well without gluten. It seems like once the first cooking class begins and guests get their hands on fresh pasta and a glass of wine, we are all family. Being together for a week of worry-free gluten free meals lets everyone relax and take in the beautiful atmosphere at the villa.

What a great feeling to welcome back five jovial gluten free culinary getaway alumni- Ray, Victoria, Rod, Debra and Kathy. It was like seeing family again! (Thank you Ray for frying the salt cod fritters, for grilling the veggies for the pizza, to Kathy for the amazing lemon curd for the sourdough waffles, and to Rod for the mouthwatering olive oil ice cream.)

We were excited to discover that we had a sneaky artist among our guests, who produced foodie postcards and hid them in the villa kitchen for a lucky finder to keep.

We were thrilled about the cooking classes! We put all these enthusiastic people to work in the kitchen, and together we were able to produce some amazing gluten free food.
