2013 Year in Review & Looking to 2014

Wow, we are so thankful for all of the good that came our way in 2013. When you’re a small, family-owned company like jovial, each small feat is the result of a lot of hard work from just a handful of people. Here were some of the highlights of our year and a look at what we are working on for 2014!

2013

SEVEN NEW PRODUCTS MADE THEIR WAY TO NATIONAL DISTRIBUTION!

Thanks to the dedication of our three salespeople, Bob, Robyn and Keely, these products made their way to distributors across the country. This means that if one of these products is not at your local store, you can request it. And with each month that passes, you will find these items popping up on the shelves in your area. Good news especially for fans of our gluten free pasta, because many supermarkets across the country, like A & P, Pathmark, Giants, Stop & Shop and Fred Meyers, will be adding our pasta soon.

2014

We have been working hard in developing three new product lines, which are expected to debut in the latter half of 2014. We can’t reveal the items just yet, but you will be the first to find out when they are ready right here on the jovial blog.

A FACEBOOK FAN WINS A TRIP TO JOVIAL’S CULINARY GETAWAYS IN LUCCA

We hosted three fantastic groups at the villa in Lucca in 2013. It was so fun to actually meet so many of you in person. You may remember Linda, she was the winner of the trip to Italy Facebook contest. Traveling with celiac disease to Italy, home of pasta, pizza and bread, seems impossible, right? Not to worry, we know how to show you a good time and keep you absolutely free from gluten without worries!

We have four getaways upcoming in 2014, check out the first two dates now! Once again, a fun contest will be announced this year, with a chance to win an all-expense paid gluten free or traditional einkorn journey back to the Old Country!

JOVIAL ORGANIC EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL GOES DIRECT

We have always dreamed of selling a very special extra virgin olive oil, the very same oil that our founders’ procure for their family at home in Italy. Many of you have pre-ordered our Olio Nuovo, the freshest oil that was just pressed in December. We are packing those orders up today and they will be shipping out tomorrow. This promotion was a great success and we love having the opportunity to sell direct from our farms to your table.

We are working to expand this direct sale of exclusive, high-quality products in the new year. These are products you could only find if you lived in Italy. An aged balsamic vinegar, the best Parmigiano Reggiano cheese? Yes, we are working on that.
